Compensation Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Physician Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing physician compensation programs within our organization. As a Senior level professional, you will be responsible for conducting complex analysis, developing innovative compensation strategies, and ensuring the alignment of compensation practices with organizational goals and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic Compensation Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to develop, implement, and refine physician compensation strategies that attract, motivate, and retain top-tier medical talent while ensuring internal equity and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Data Analysis: Utilize advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to evaluate physician compensation data, including productivity, revenue generation, and clinical outcomes. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement to inform compensation decisions.
• Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to benchmark physician compensation against industry standards, regional trends, and competitor practices. Present findings to leadership and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Incentive Plan Design: Lead the design and administration of physician incentive and bonus programs that drive desired performance outcomes. Ensure that incentive plans are transparent, equitable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Compensation Review: Perform regular reviews of existing compensation structures and make recommendations for adjustments based on changing market conditions, organizational needs, and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with medical leadership, finance, legal, and HR departments to gather insights, align strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Data Integrity: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of compensation data, maintaining a high level of confidentiality and security. Develop and maintain standardized documentation and processes for data collection and analysis.
• Communication: Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and insightful reports and presentations to communicate compensation analysis findings, recommendations, and strategies to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior compensation analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the compensation team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in physician compensation analysis or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of physician compensation trends, market benchmarks, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and their impact on compensation practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in compensation software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
