Position: Family Law Paralegal
Location : Arlington, VA
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and related areas.
• Conduct legal research and prepare relevant documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories
• Assist in the drafting and editing of legal correspondence and agreements.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and effective manner.
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all relevant documents are accurately maintained.
• Assist attorneys in trial and deposition preparation.
• Manage all stages of discovery.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification.
• 2+ years experience as a family law paralegal.
• Strong knowledge of legal research methods and databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
