Part-Time Market Analyst and Office Assistant
Location: New York City,
20 hours per week

The role
We are seeking a part-time Market Analyst and Office Assistant to join our New York office to support the Mason Hayes & Curran (“MHC”) partners with responsibility for US business origination. This will be achieved through researching leads and gathering market intelligence and supporting fee earners to plan and implement effective business origination initiatives.
The successful candidate will be based in North America and will have the opportunity to network with existing and prospective North America based clients and contacts of MHC and to work with the MHC lawyers that assist with the firm’s international business origination.
Candidate requirements
• Based in North America.
• Experience of working in a role that involves market research, and client prospecting.
• Strong research, trend spotting, competitive analysis and spread sheet analysis skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build productive relationships.
• Be a team player with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Flexible and willing to support multiple functions and business units.
Responsibilities of role:
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Analyze data and prepare reports on market trends, client demographics, and competitive intelligence.
• Stay updated on industry news, regulations, and best practices related to legal marketing and business development
• Assist in the planning and coordination of market events including seminars, conferences and networking events
• Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering and audiovisual equipment and marketing materials.
• Assist with the project management of internal US focussed client and market initiatives.
• Assist with the coordination of business development trips.
• Assist with the administration of the day to day running of our New York office space.
