District Property Manager
Robert Half is seeking a District Property Manager for our client. The District Property Manager oversees the operations and management of a portfolio of properties within a designated district or region. This role involves supervising property managers, ensuring efficient property maintenance, maximizing occupancy rates, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the value of the properties.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise property managers and leasing staff to ensure effective day-to-day operations of multiple properties. Oversee leasing activities, tenant relations, and rent collection processes.
• Develop and manage property budgets, including operating expenses, capital expenditures, and revenue projections. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to optimize property profitability.
• Foster positive relationships with tenants by addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Implement tenant retention strategies to minimize turnover and vacancy rates.
• Develop and implement leasing and marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants. Analyze market trends, conduct competitive research, and adjust leasing strategies as needed to maximize occupancy rates.
• Ensure that properties are well-maintained and compliant with relevant regulations and safety standards. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, negotiate service contracts, and oversee capital improvement projects.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate management, or related field.
• Several years of experience in property management, with progressive responsibility and experience managing multiple properties.
• Strong knowledge of property management principles, leasing practices, and real estate laws and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
• Proven track record of financial management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
