Well-known Real Estate Developer looking for a Controller to be the number 1 in the Accounting and Finance team.
Job Description
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes and strategic planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, department heads, Project Executives to monitor project budgets, analyze variances, and ensure profitability.
• Supervise and mentor finance/accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to government contracting and financial management.
• Ensure the accuracy of the financial records of the Bank
• Manage the preparation of all financial, management, and regulatory reporting
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Streamline processes, automate reports and maintain procedures and policies
• Prepare financial analysis
• Prepare annual budget

• 8 plus years of senior accounting experience
• Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
