Job Responsibilities:

 •  Patient Registration: Greet and assist patients during the registration process, ensuring accurate collection and entry of personal and insurance information.
 •  Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, verifying availability and confirming details while accommodating patient preferences.
 •  Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, communicating any potential issues or discrepancies to relevant parties.
 •  Financial Counseling: Provide information about estimated costs, payment options, and financial assistance programs to patients.
 •  Medical Records: Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records, including medical history, consent forms, and other relevant documentation.
 •  Admission and Discharge: Facilitate the admission and discharge process, guiding patients through necessary paperwork and procedures.
 •  Billing Inquiries: Address patient inquiries regarding billing, explaining charges and assisting with billing-related concerns.
 •  Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns, providing information, and maintaining a positive patient experience.
 •  Compliance: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and privacy standards (HIPAA), maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
 •  Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare staff, physicians, and administrative personnel to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate information exchange.
 •  Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
 •  Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
