Leasing Assistant

Robert Half is looking for a Leasing Assistant who will be instrumental in managing leasing activities and providing administrative support in the office. The Leasing Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the leasing team in leasing and renting properties.
They assist in marketing efforts, responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, conducting property tours, and processing leasing applications. The Leasing Assistant plays a key role in ensuring efficient operations within the leasing department and delivering excellent customer service to prospective tenants.
This long-term contract role is located in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.

Responsibilities:

 •  Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
 •  Assist in the administration of leasing activities and provide support to the Leasing Consultant
 •  Screen applicants and assist in the residential property management process
 •  Provide high-quality customer service to both applicants and residents
 •  Maintain the office environment and ensure that office supplies are adequately stocked
 •  Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
 •  Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and databases
 •  Maintain a professional and organized workspace.
 •  Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry
 •  Proven experience as a Leasing Consultant
 •  Demonstrated ability in answering inbound calls in a timely and professional manner
 •  Proficiency in Applicant Screening
 •  Strong customer service skills
 •  Prior administrative assistance experience
 •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
 •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 •  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
 •  Strong written and verbal communication skills
 •  Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
 •  High level of professionalism and integrity
 •  Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
