1. Coordinate Logistics Operations
• Assist the SCM Director by coordinating and monitoring logistics operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the warehouse.
• Facilitate smooth operations that align with customer company strategies and requirements.
2. Effective Use of Assets and Communication
• Ensure that all assets, including communication channels, are utilized effectively to maximize operational efficiency.
• Maintain open lines of communication with all relevant stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations.
3. Utilize Logistics IT Systems
• Operate and leverage advanced logistics IT systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, and G-SCL to manage inventory and streamline operations.
4. Oversee Logistics Processes
• Manage and oversee the entire logistics process, including shipping coordination and comprehensive inventory and equipment management, to meet business needs and expectations.
5. Customer and Carrier Communication
• Maintain regular communication with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to negotiate successful deals and ensure mutual satisfaction.
6. Management and Staff Development
• Manage work performance by providing direction and feedback to logistics staff, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
7. Forecasting and Tracking Shipments
• Forecast and track shipments based on customer requirements to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
8. Maintain Accurate Logs and Records
• Monitor and maintain detailed and accurate logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders to ensure traceability and accountability.
9. Prepare Reports for Audits
• Prepare precise and accurate reports for both annual and regular audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience in a logistics role supporting supply chain management functions.
Strong familiarity with logistics software systems (WMS, SAP, G-SCL, etc.).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
