Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

The Biobank Technician I in Norwood, MA, supports the operational excellence of a biorepository team, ensuring the quality and integrity of biospecimens through precise handling, accurate documentation, and adherence to established storage processes, utilizing advanced robotics and collaboration with research teams to drive success in biobanking initiatives.

 •  Maintain the integrity of biospecimens through precise handling, meticulous documentation, and adherence to established storage processes.
 •  Utilize advanced robotics and automation equipment to systematically reformat and securely store biospecimens.
 •  Collaborate with research and clinical teams to organize and prioritize biospecimen shipments, ensuring timely responses to requests and efficient operations.

 •  High School diploma or equivalent, accompanied by 1-2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or biospecimen management environment.
