Duties:
Generates standard proposals in response to inquiries and requests for bids.
In partnership with Sales personnel, meets with customers as required to discuss proposals and to provide technical training, support and expertise.
Analyzes customer needs to determine which system or unit best suits their requirements.
Attend trade shows.
Prepares and conducts sales seminars and training schools.
Seeks out new applications for existing products and makes recommendations on the nature and scope of present and future product lines.
Requirements:
Must be authorized to work within the U.S.
BS from accredited institution (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred) or similar industrial discipline; and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
3+ years of mechanical application engineering experience in technical goods and services.
3+ years of hands-on related experience in manufacturing machinery and/or vibration analysis preferred.
Travel up to 20% of the time, including some international travel.
Strong PC skills: must be able to install software associated with vibration analysis programs.
Must be mechanically and electrically inclined with knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, machine components and drawings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to respond promptly and skillfully to customer inquiries.
Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze and reason through on technical issues.
