CAD Supervisor

Establish structures, policies and procedures for the CAD Department. Develop projects schedules and ensure their timely implementation and completion. Responsible for reviewing and verifying drawings in various design modeling software formats.
Apt in creating detailed drawings in AutoCAD, as well as other design modeling software formats.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
 •  Produce specifications and drawings that must be centered on written instructions, calculations and equations
 •  Ensure overall CAD system reliability and security of intellectual property
 •  Responsible for project material handling, taking into consideration the project cost control and should ensure the project’s compliance with the given policies and procedures
 •  Work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes
 •  Coordinate with designers, technicians and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages
 •  Maintain schedules for each project deadline to ensure that project deadlines are maintained and met
 •  Participate in design reviews

Requirements
 •  Possess sound project management and leadership skills
 •  Excellent communication skills
 •  Proficient with AutoCAD and 3D solid modeling
 •  Proven proficiency using AutoCAD
 •  Proficiency in PC based computing, Microsoft Office and use of Windows OS
 •  Problem-solving skills
 •  This job also requires some amount of travel along with flexible working hours
 •  Solid work ethic and self-starter attitude
 •  Entertainment and Events Industry experience preferred (Live Events, Sporting Events/Venues, Theater)

Education Requirements
 •  A high school diploma is required.
 •  Associates or technical degree in drafting, architectural design, or similar education is preferred.

Physical Requirements
 •  This is a largely sedentary role; however, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
 •  Must have the manual dexterity to use computer hardware as required

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly works in an office environment with low to moderate noise. Wearing of safety clothing and equipment may at times be required.
