Overview:

If so, please consider applying to our EDI Business Analyst position. This position will utilize their technical expertise and business knowledge to execute EDI projects to maintain and optimize systems applications and efficiencies. This role will manage electronic data receipts and outgoing transmission for the HIPAA transaction code set, execute production and project support requests, and collaborate with leadership to prioritize workload.

Responsibilities:

 •  Provide project support for supervisor / EDI staff that are delegating tasks and review the project plan to determine when efforts are due. Manage tasks, provide status of efforts, and complete tasks.
 •  Manage the production support queue of items and respond to all incoming emails within established SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
 •  Assist other Business Analysts with test and investigation of production issues and testing, problem solving by loading claims, running jobs, reporting results, and moving files for the support and testing of the business needs.
 •  Work with IT to set routines for trading partners and problem resolution by creating requests to communicate changes and implement new customer requests.
 •  Build business and technical knowledge by reading documentation, questions, and gaining experience with issues related to the business.
 •  Document and update EDI business processes that are owned by the project team.

Qualifications:

 •  Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Management, Information Technology, or related field (experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement)
 •  2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or equivalent role required
 •  1+ years of experience working with ANSI X12 EDI transactions
 •  Experience working in the Healthcare industry preferred
 •  Advanced MS Office and MS Visio
 •  Ability to gather business requirements and develop to those requirements with minimal supervision
 •  A basic understanding of querying language and/or programming language
 •  Advanced understanding of development life cycles, test case build, and troubleshooting system software
 •  Flexible to change and seeing multiple simultaneous projects through to completion
 •  Ability to investigate, analyze and make recommendations
 •  Create strong relationships and provide positive experiences for internal partners - continually work to understand user needs and challenges.

This position can work 100% remotely or from one of our offices in Madison, WI or Onalaska, WI in a hybrid or full-time on-site arrangement, if preferred. Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
