Our client is a commercial real estate development, construction and design firm with over 75 years in the industry. Their offices and projects span across the United States. The Boulder location focuses on medium to large scale multifamily projects.

Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Construction is responsible for:

 •  Run/manage project from start to finish
 •  Oversee full construction project on a daily bases
 •  Coordinate to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
 •  Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
 •  Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Construction has the following skill set:

 •  High school diploma or equivalent
 •  Construction-related course from a vocational or technical program
 •  3+ years experience with construction of large commercial and industrial buildings.
 •  Construction management capabilities, with experience working with multiple trades in union and non-union environments.
 •  Familiarity of the design/build process and ability to coordinate people and activities related to construction according to plan and design intent.
 •  Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
 •  Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
 •  Must be willing to travel.
 •  Excellent organization skills.
 •  Must possess a valid Driver's License.
