I'm partnered with the Controller at a multi-billion dollar manufacturing company located near Worth, IL. Offering their customers access to the best-in-class products in their niche, they are in full growth mode right now, looking to double the size of the company over the next few years!
My client loves to hire and retain top talent so that they can focus on sharing and transitioning their internal talent! With that being said, they are now looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team!
Job Description
• Assist with month-end close, including the completion of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the management of financial statement preparation and month-end and quarterly close
• Oversee the completion of monthly consolidation financial packets for senior leadership
• Collaborate with internal and external audits, generating audit expense reports
• Perform key accounting procedures including month-end closing, financial statement preparation, fixed assets, and more
• Prepare various states sales and use taxes
• Complete and review monthly account reconciliations, including variance analysis
• Carry out monthly bank reconciliations
• Regularly maintains detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Lead the reconciliation of all intercompany foreign accounts
• Assist in the creation of monthly entries on a global scale to close the international books
• Collaborate with internal and external tax team in the preparation of tax returns

The Successful Applicant
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• MBA or CPA a plus
• Manufacturing experience
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting
• Experience working with inventory analysis
• Strong knowledge of Financial Statements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
