Job Title: Clerical Assistant
Employment Type: Contract
Work Hours: 40+hrs./week
Work site: 100% Onsite
Location: New York, NY 10009
Salary: $28/hr
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles preferred.
Job Duties:
Process paper backlog entries and completions efficiently and accurately
Conduct research on work requests (WRs), including incorrect addresses, outdoor sets, AKAs, etc.
Update assets in GC (General Contractor) for outdoor sets
Generate new work requests (WRs) as needed
Complete procedure reporting to close out inspections
Process NGD (Next Generation Dispatch) paperwork
Handle contract item entries, billing, approvals, and payments
Coordinate local appointments through local field forces and research customer contact information
Create paper folders and job packets as needed by District/ERF/Level 4 daily surveillance, etc.
Conduct back-office research involving WR numbers, account numbers, etc.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with office software and systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule:
This position requires onsite work from Monday to Friday, with a schedule of 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
