Job Summary:

The Associate Director of Community Outreach & Growth is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive program of educational outreach and collaboration with the community, individuals, stakeholder organizations, institutions and clinical learning environments.
This person will be responsible for achieving goals and improving Essen’s enrollment growth objectives. Also working closely with the member engagement and marketing department to plan, implement, and connect with the community and regions surrounding our medical centers.

Responsibilities:

Conduct walkthroughs of nearby clinic neighborhoods to assess underserved and low-income community needs, recent population shifts, map community assets, identify new community partners, and/or develop a deeper understanding of community changes.

 •  Maximizing referral and redirection opportunities for outpatient services
 •  Develop, maintain and track outreach and engagement with community partners, including ambulatory clinics, local hospitals, and community-based organizations.
 •  Collaborates and maintains a healthy relationship with Health plans Agents and Brokers
 •  Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment goals and growth targets, as established by management.
 •  Focusing on continuous improvement that result in improved experiences for both patients and providers within the organization
 •  Strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts specifically with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other areas of the organization as needed
 •  Collaborates with the community outreach supervisor and coordinators to plan, implement, and evaluate community activities and events.
 •  Delivers presentations, attends meetings, and distributes educational materials to both members and potential members

Qualifications:

 •  Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
 •  5+ years of experience in outreach and marketing.
 •  Prior experience in a leadership role.
 •  Strong understanding of outreach and marketing principles.
 •  Proficiency in MS Office, and other relevant software.
