Job Description

The Business Development Manager's main targets include:

 •  Take responsibility for driving new business opportunities
 •  Work towards pre-agreed revenue targets, maintaining sufficient pipeline to achieve target
 •  Work closely with Marketing to feedback back market information, support campaigns, etc
 •  Working closely with the revenue teams on their generated leads to follow up directly with prospects
 •  Work with the larger group to understand where introductions of new markets and lines of business can be made
 •  Identify key stakeholders within prospects to ensure a clear understanding of business opportunity is known and sale opportunity maximized
 •  Opportunity lead to engage with relevant internal stakeholders to deliver solution

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, the Business Development Manager will have:

 •  Bilingual Spanish/English is mandatory, Portuguese preferred
 •  Ideally knowledge of selling into Engineering and Manufacturing segments; Pharma, Science and Research, etc, though Enterprise sales experience is critical
 •  Experience working on complex opportunities, ideally sales values more than 1m+ annual yield
 •  Ideally some structured sales methodology training that you apply to opportunities
 •  A background in developing new business, managing the sales cycle from lead initiation to closure, typically over a 6-12+ month period
 •  A track record on your resume of delivering results YOY
