Overview:
The Discovery Biology Unit at WuXi AppTec's DEL Lab in Massachusetts is at the forefront of drug discovery, utilizing the latest advancements in chemistry, chemical biology, biology, and informatics. As a Discovery Biology Intern, you will be actively involved in research projects focused on DEL (DNA-encoded library) screening and sample processing.
Working closely with experts in molecular biology, DEL selection, post selection chemistry you will contribute to groundbreaking research while gaining valuable hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Apply hands-on knowledge and skills to participate in various phases of research and development projects.
• Collaborate with team members to address project requirements and challenges effectively.
• Deliver presentations, ensuring clear communication of results to both peers and leadership.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or master’s degree in biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or related field.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Experience with bench biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, and SDS-PAGE.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in literature mining and analysis.
• Ability to meet project timelines within realistic expectations.
• Decent presentation, scientific/technical writing, and communication skills.
