About the Opportunity:
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a regional medical center in Lawton, OK to find a qualified and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist LCSW to join their growing team. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional mental health services to individuals in the community.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to diagnose and develop treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure coordinated care.
Document treatment progress and maintain accurate patient records.
Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in the field.
May participate in outreach and education programs to promote mental health awareness in the community.
Qualifications:
Current LCSW, LPC, LBP, or LMFT license in the state of Oklahoma (or eligible for licensure).
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
Minimum two years of experience providing clinical mental health services in a healthcare setting.
Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy.
Experience utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
