Our reputable client is seeking a Payroll Manager to join the company. This Payroll Manager will help achieve standards that are necessary for growth within the financial department and will be responsible for work on tax-related tasks, such as W2 forms, preparing reports and updating policies.

Your responsibilities
• Create reports and ensure accuracy of records
• Oversee and train payroll assistants and clerks
• Settle issues and respond to all questions related to payroll
• Manage payroll tax audits and liaise with auditors
• Supervise system upgrades and the processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises)
• Collaborate with accounting and Human Resources (HR) teams
• Manage timekeeping and payroll systems
• Build systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third-party payments)
• Follow internal policies and act in accordance with relevant laws
• Capable of working in payroll applications
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field
• Knowledge of multi-location payroll and taxes
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
• Strong understanding of compliance
• 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar role
• Skilled in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Sound understanding of current payroll procedures and related laws
• CPP, CPM, or other related professional certifications is a plus
• 5+ years of payroll experience
