Job Description:
Attention Agencies: This is a critical role, the expectation is that the credentialing is expedited, meaning you will need to ensure that your temps are scheduling their appointments quickly upon acceptance and credentialing begin immediately.
The expected turnaround is two weeks from acceptance.
CLINICAL NURSE
Medicine/Surgery/Telemetry, 8 East, Float
Must have a current RN license in the State of Ohio and BLS from the American Heart Association
Plans for, delivers, documents and evaluates nursing care of patients in an assigned area in terms of their individual's needs, according to provider s orders and in conformance with approved and recognized nursing standards of care, recognized nursing techniques, procedures and administrative policy.
Directs activities of assigned nursing personnel in such care. Observes, assesses and reports on the condition of patients. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of care reflecting patient s condition, treatment, and response to care. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Mandatory Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio. Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.
Network Access and/or Various Apps needed: Epic, Pyxis, Vovera
Required Licenses/Certifications: RN-Clinical Nurse, AHA-BLS from the American Heart Association only.
