As a Product Manager, you will be an integral part of our product management team, responsible for creating software solutions that are user-centered and easy to use. Your role will involve collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, including product managers, end-users, and development teams.
Your primary objective will be to understand overall objectives and scope, define user requirements, communicate requirements, and use cases to the development teams, and ultimately deliver innovative, world-class point of use supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities:

 •  Gather, clarify, and refine end user requirements specific to inventory management within the hospital setting.
 •  Maintain a vision for the point-of-use products and continuously update the roadmap to reflect that vision.
 •  Support the product owner to define and write user stories within the product backlog.
 •  Prioritize backlog items based on value to the market and urgency of need.
 •  Manage stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
 •  Identify, document, and propose high-level solutions to market problems.
 •  Participate in the development process through research and requirements reviews.
 •  Triage and prioritize customer issues.
 •  Form strong market and customer contacts.
 •  Challenge assumptions and strive for innovative approaches to problem- solving.
 •  Understand project goals, make decisions according to the plan, and keep projects in scope.
 •  Differentiate between generic and custom product requests.
 •  Actively participate as a member of an Agile development team.
 •  Contribute to retrospectives for continuous improvement of team processes and effectiveness.

We are looking for someone who:

 •  Can form a dynamic and innovative vision for the product and can communicate that vision to senior management, prospective customers, and customers alike.
 •  Someone who can form a sound business justification for the decisions and direction being proposed.
 •  Makes decisions based on a deep understanding of the hospital supply chain and business strategy.
 •  Has a strong knowledge of hospital supply chain management.
 •  Previous experience as a product leader in the healthcare industry.
 •  Has successfully managed product backlogs in complex software projects.
 •  Can collaborate effectively with team members to prioritize work for the development team.
 •  Works well with development teams, providing subject matter expertise on how hospital supply chains work.
 •  Has a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, if required.
 •  Demonstrates strong creativity in solving user experience (UX) challenges.
 •  Is self-driven, eager to learn from peers, and willing to share knowledge.
 •  Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 •  Can work well with both creative and technical personalities.

What else would give you an edge when applying?
 •  Experience in developing supply chain management applications.
 •  Familiarity with other perioperative software systems.
 •  Experience using tools like Aha and Jira for product management.
 •  In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.

At Tecsys, we value creativity, innovation, and teamwork. Our employees enjoy a supportive work environment, competitive compensation packages, and opportunities for career growth and advancement.
