About Our Client

Our client, a reputable leader in the construction industry with over 70 years of experience, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their dynamic team. With an annual revenue of $500 million and multiple offices across the United States, our client specializes in Core and Shell construction, New Construction, Repositioning of high-end interiors, and Class A office fit-outs.
Their portfolio includes projects ranging from 40K sq.ft. to multimillion-dollar ventures, serving various market sectors such as corporate offices, government facilities, healthcare institutions, law firms, interiors, light industrial setups, non-profit organizations, research facilities, hospitality establishments, retail spaces, and more.

Job Description
 •  Collaborate with Project Managers to oversee and coordinate project activities from initiation to completion.
 •  Assist in the preparation and management of project schedules, budgets, and resources.
 •  Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
 •  Utilize Procore, our project management software, to facilitate communication, document management, and project tracking.
 •  Provide support in estimating tasks, including cost analysis and budget development.
 •  Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality control.
 •  Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
 •  Demonstrate autonomy and self-sufficiency in handling assigned tasks and projects.

The Successful Applicant
 •  Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
 •  Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry.
 •  Proficiency in Procore project management software is required.
 •  Experience with estimating processes and tools is preferred.
 •  Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
 •  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
 •  Comfortable working in an office-based setting in Bethesda, Maryland.
 •  Prior experience in high-end interiors construction is advantageous but not mandatory. We welcome candidates with a high caliber and a willingness to learn and grow.
