Job Overview::
Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking an experienced Net Zero Contracts, Design Support to join our Net Zero team. This position is remote with occasional travel. Candidates must reside in the San Fransico Bay area or in New York, New York.
Responsibilities & Duties::
• Engaging with our engineering and construction teams as they are developing localized designs for data centers to promote low-carbon solutions, focused on embodied emissions
• Support the updating of Specifications and other tools to ensure low-GHG solutions are deployed and adopted
• Develop specification adoption metrics to assess GHG performance
• Supporting the deployment of novel materials with our construction contractors
• Work with engineering and construction teams to identify how to reduce the embodied emissions of data centers in the localization and construction phase
• Track and update construction specifications to accelerate the use of low-GHG materials
• Identify opportunities for deployment of low-carbon materials and collaborate with partners to deploy and track their use
Qualifications & Skills::
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Architecture or related field
• 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance and sustainability, with specific experience in data center construction or similar large-scale construction projects
• Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations, standards, and best practices related to construction, including air quality, water quality, soil, waste management, and other environmental aspects
• Experience in contract management, including negotiation, review, and administration of contracts related to environmental services
• Strong analytical skills, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation
The salary range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licenses and certifications; and other related skillsets.
The disclosed range is an estimate and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
