1st or 2nd Shift Manual Machinist - SW Cleveland, Ohio #(phone number removed)
Salary Range: $20 - $30/HR based on experience Permanent Position with Benefits.
Cleveland, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire a Manual Machinist on 1st or 2nd shift.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate (Trade School or post-secondary education is a plus)
Manual Machinist work experience preferred (entry level trained candidates will be considered)
Will consider 1st or 2nd shift candidates (the preferred shift is 3:30pm - 12am)
Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring and conventional milling (e.g., horizontal and vertical mills and horizontal boring mills).
Perform lathe work, using large engine lathes with a maximum swing of 10'.
Perform various metalizing (metal spraying) techniques as needed.
Set up and perform tool-post grinding procedures and Babbitt bearing work.
Use various hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools, including but not limited to: band saws, belt sanders, hand grinder, files, etc.
Utilize lift trucks, overhead cranes and gantry cranes
Welding & brazing is a plus
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
