Educational Requirements

B.S or M.S in Immunology, Biology, or a related discipline with 5-8 years of relevant industry experience. Candidates with more advanced degrees (PhD) are highly encouraged to apply.

Required Experience and Skills
 •  A good understanding of immunological concepts
 •  Expertise in aseptic cell culture techniques
 •  Experience with blood and/or tissue processing for primary cell isolation
 •  Experience with multi-color flow cytometry (preferably with Client Biosciences or Beckman Coulter flow cytometers) and proficiency in FlowJo analysis
 •  Experience with functional assay development and secreted cytokine analysis (ELISA, MSD, Luminex)
 •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 •  Attention to detail and ability to maintain meticulous records
 •  This position is lab-based, and the candidate will be expected to be on site on all working days

Additional Experience and Skills
 •  Experience with any single cell genomics (10X Genomics, Client Rhapsody, or HIVE-seq) and/or proteomics (IsoPlexis) platforms
 •  Experience with high dimensional spectral flow cytometry, preferably with Cytek Aurora spectral cytometer
 •  Proficiency with TIBCO Spotfire, GraphPad Prism and/or IsoSpeak software

Responsibilities:

The Cytometric profiling group within the Profiling and Expression department is seeking a motivated and creative scientist capable of working in a collaborative environment to advance preclinical immunology and oncology drug development programs.

The qualified candidate will be involved in data generation and analysis to support the following types of studies:

 •  Immunophenotyping human and non-human primate blood and tissue samples using high dimensional spectral flow cytometry
 •  Identifying and validating target engagement and pharmacodynamic biomarkers for drug candidates
 •  Utilizing single cell technologies to enable target identification and biomarker discovery
 •  Functional assay development using therapeutic antibodies
 •  Client technology assessments and platform development efforts
 •  Support day to day functioning of Flow Cytometry Core Lab
