Specialist - Data Engineering (Geneva Developer)

Requirements/ Experience:
Developer Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as a developer in the financial industry.
Functional Expertise: Strong functional experience in the financial industry, particularly with Portfolio Accounting System Geneva, a 3rd party product from Vendor SS&C.
Accounting Treatment: Extensive experience (5+ years) with the accounting treatment of various investment product types, including fixed income products, derivatives, swap instruments, swap financing, and bank debt.
Vendor SS&C Geneva: Hands-on experience with major upgrades and implementations of the Vendor SS&C product Geneva portfolio accounting system.
Geneva Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Vendor SS&C product Geneva, including expertise in Geneva internals and object structure.
Geneva RSLs: Advanced ability (5+ years of experience) to leverage accounting knowledge to write/update Geneva RSLs (Report Scripting Language).
Migration Management: Experience with managing migration efforts between different versions of Geneva.
SQL Server and RDL: Expertise in SQL Server and Report Definition Language (RDL).
• Net and C#: Experience in .Net development and proficiency in C# programming language.
Geneva Workflow Manager: Experience in Geneva Workflow Manager, including hands-on implementation and management.
Portfolio Accounting Systems Interaction: Experience in working with Portfolio Accounting interacting Systems, including Trade processing, Reference data (Client and Product), Cash bookings, and Reporting.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and derive insights.
Web Services Development: Experience with web services development using SpringBoot / REST APIs.
Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, Multithreading, and MQ/TIBCO technologies.
