Overview:
Repair and maintain all mechanical and electrical equipment to used by guests and staff. Accountable for preventative maintenance of all facilities, property, and equipment on and off site.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the following:
1. General maintenance of all facilities in the hotel.
2. Replace defective electrical devices, switches, and other fixtures.
3. Knowledge of the HAVAC system, alarm system, and generators.
4. Painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the hotel.
5. Preventative maintenance as scheduled.
6. Estimate costs of parts and supplies to be used during scheduled maintenance.
7. Ensure the safety and security of all guests and Team Members.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements. Knowledge of personal protective equipment. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment. High School Diploma/GED required. Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, bend, reach kneel, lie prone, hold, pull and lower as necessary.
Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions. Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of employees and guests at all times.
