Job Title: Construction Management - Construction Site Contracts Manager 5
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Chances for extension)
Assist with preparation of Scope of Work documents for GC/OFCI/Design/Professional Services
Engagement with MS Sourcing Team on approved GC/OFCI/Design/Professional Services vendors
Assist in the RFP process and coordinate with vendors
Support Microsoft Procurement team in the review vendor proposals including commercial exceptions, technical exceptions, assumptions and clarifications
Issue procurement scorecards to appropriate stakeholders and compile results into master scorecard
Attend pre-bids, mid bid and on-boarding interview/meetings as required
Support negotiations with the vendors as necessary
Coordinate and compile documentation required for Single Source Justification (SSJ) where needed
Issue award recommendation letter to appropriate stakeholders Initiate contracts in Microsoft systems for approval
Coordinate with the project cost team as required
Process Change Orders in the system and engage with site team for approvals as required
Coordinate with BizOps on routing contracts and address comments as needed
Summary:
The main function of a supervisor/manager production is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
Job Responsibilities:
" Implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
" Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
" Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
" Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
" Set and monitor product standards to ensure quality finished products.
" Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
Skills:
" Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
" Ability to work independently and manage one s time.
" Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
" Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
" Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
Education/Experience:
" High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
" 10+ years experience required.
Top 3 must-have hard skills
1IT knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Excel, Compass, MFST tools) 3+ years
2Adapting to ambiguity 3-4+ years of experience
3Data Center Construction experience 6+ years
