About Our Client

This healthcare network has multiple locations, all dedicated to providing top notch healthcare services to their patients. They have a very service focused, collaborative Human Resources team and are looking for the Director of HR Operations to work closely with onsite HR representatives, and upper leadership to continually improve HR operations.

Job Description
  1.  

Operational Leadership: Lead and oversee all aspects of HR operations, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, HRIS management, policy development and implementation, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Team Management: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of three HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Policy Development and Implementation: Collaborate with the CHRO and other stakeholders to develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
  4.  

Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  5.  

Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other fringe benefits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient communication to employees.

HRIS Management: Manage and optimize the use of our HRIS (preferably Oracle), ensuring data accuracy, system functionality, and user training to support HR operations and reporting needs.

Payroll Backup: Serve as backup for payroll processing, assisting with payroll activities as needed to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  8.  

Compliance and Risk Management: Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to HR operations.
  9.  

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CHRO and senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives that support organizational growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
 10.  

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within HR operations, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and employee experience.
 11.  

Other Duties: Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the CHRO or senior leadership team.

The Successful Applicant
 •  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
 •  7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
 •  Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
 •  Experience working in a healthcare or 24/7 facility preferred.
 •  Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a diverse team of HR professionals.
 •  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
 •  Proficiency in HRIS (Oracle experience preferred) and MS Office Suite.
 •  Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
 •  Flexibility to work onsite during regular business hours (9-5) with occasional weekend availability as needed.
 •  HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
