If you're an efficient worker with experience as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional, Robert Half has a career-building opportunity for you to consider. To succeed in this role, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.

Responsibilities
• Provide information, as requested to the sales/marketing department, shippers, customers, and other stakeholders
• Be an ambassador of the mission, values, and culture of the organization
• Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP
• Balance bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in a number of different ledgers
• Help resolve payment issues by contacting clients, assist in setting up payment plans
• Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, including skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
• Verify codes and documents
• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Efficient in ERP systems, primarily Oracle-based system
• Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
• Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
