Direct hire opening with client for a Field Service Technician. Must be open to domestic travel to customer sites up to 80% of the time. Prior expeirence with polyurethane machine repair is required.
Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting of control components (Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley)
Repair or replace machine components
Installation and commissioning of new customer machines
Provide remote support for customers
Work with customers to address technical questions, service and parts.
Work on internal projects such as machine rebuilds and laboratory trials
Work with engineers to develop machine corrections and repairs as needed.
Requirements
Associate Degree in technical discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Experience with capital equipment installation, startup, and service is preferred
Experience with polyurethane machine repair
Understanding of Hydraulics and machine controls
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer-facing experience
Domestic travel up to 80% to customer sites
