Grants Manager

Overview:

The Grants Manager has the responsibility for planning activities, setting priorities, and executing effective strategies designed to maximize support through grants to the Conway Regional Health Foundation. Responsibility will focus on building relationships with private foundations, writing grants, and managing those awarded.
This position will work collaboratively with other departments in the system and leadership to create and implement strategies for approaching foundations and will serve as a recognized expert in foundation engagement. Reporting to Chief Development Officer, the position will provide substantial support for the overall fundraising goals for the Foundation.

Qualifications:

 •  - - Bachelor’s degree in communications, writing, journalism, or related fields
 •  3 years professional work experience
 •  Proven organization and project management skills
 •  Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
 •  The ability to work strategically, develop and implement communications plans and processes in collaboration with internal partners and stakeholders
 •  Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills; effective time management and organizational skills that are essential for success in this position

Preferred Education and/or Experience
 •  Proven record of writing solicitations for projects/gifts directed to foundations and corporations
 •  Proficient in Raiser’s Edge
 •  Healthcare or fundraising experience
 •  Demonstrated track-record of securing grants

Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications.
