ACP1I4-Flight Engineer 4 - A51-Flight Engineering
Job Description: Performs systems checks on the ground and in-flight for functional test flights and engineering tests.. Develops and maintains aircraft flight test procedures. Evaluates payload and fuel requirements. Instructs personnel in test functions and flight engineer crew duties.
V22 crew chiefs - Candidates must have a minimum of 500 flight hours as a V-22 Crew Chief.
New River North Carolina - on base
Perform V22 aircrew duties in support of the Japan V22 Foreign Military Sales Program. Responsibilities will include preflight/post flight inspections. Flight and classroom instruction of both USG and Japanese aircrew. Applicant will be required to conduct 60 day rotations in Japan twice a year in support of Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force training.
While off rotation the applicant will be embedded in the Enlisted Aircrew Training Department at VMMT-204 to maintain currency and proficiency while training USG aircrew in initial flight training. V-22 Crew Chief based out of New River, NC. Must have a current Class 2 FAA Medical Certificate and must have a Class III NASTP swim qualification.
