Overview:
Department: Engineering Test Lab
Mentor's Title: Director, Engineering Lab
Start Date: Summer 2024
Anticipated Duration: Possible extension through the year
Responsibilities:
• Develop test automation to functionally verify software products
• Develop test plan and procedures for software products
• Run test, document test results and file bugs into tracking system
• Collect, analyze and document test data using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Summarize test results, present findings and interact with product development and production groups
Qualifications:
• Programming in C, Junit, LabView, and a scripting language such as (Python) Coding VBA in Microsoft Excel, hand tools and machining equipment experience are desired
• Familiar with Ethernet networking, understand hubs, switches and routers
• Familiar with CAN communication protocol desired Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Education & Experience:
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with 2nd year completed or graduate student in an ABET accredited electrical engineering program (Graduate student preferred)
• Desired Major: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
