Senior Planning Analyst

The Senior Planning Analyst will be responsible for managing the demand plan for International retailers in the forecast system, ad hoc reporting, and systematic execution of the forecast to ensure proper customer experience for launches and promotions.
This candidate will generate reports and analyze data from multiple sources to forecast newness, as well as review trends to forecast core products. This candidate must be detail-oriented, as they will be responsible for maintaining data accuracy and problem solving any issues that may arise pertinent to their demand plan.

Responsibilities:

 •  SKU level planning for international business, core and newness.
 •  Prepare, maintain, and publish reporting to monitor and assess performance and trend
 •  Analyze, troubleshoot, and identify system and data related issues and partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
 •  Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
 •  Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
 •  Gain insight into the life cycle of sales orders from forecast to fulfillment and adjust the shipment forecast accordingly.
 •  Partner with Retail operations and allocations to analyze PO's and WOS to facilitate retailer forecast alignment between sell-in and sell-thru.
 •  Adjust shipment level forecast based on business changes and advise on system parameter adjustments based on the inventory accuracy in retail markets.
 •  Perform analysis and reporting such as assisting in the creation of new product forecasts and their contribution to the product categories.
 •  Proactively work with operations and supply chain teams to identify and close inventory gaps when forecasts are overachieved; mitigate overstock risk.

Requirements:

 •  Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast paced organization
 •  Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising Management, or Business
 •  Beauty/and or consumer product background a plus
 •  SAP and/or Vanguard experience a plus
 •  Exceptional Excel skills
 •  Attention to detail and well organized
 •  Strong problem solving and communications skills
 •  Analytical and critical thinking skills
 •  Ability to work independently and cross functionally
 •  Works well under pressure, can prioritize tasks projects as needed, and adhere to deadlines
