Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
• Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Project Management of staff and clients on large and/or complex projects
• Support Studio Leaders in managing staff and financials
• Providing mentoring and guidance to junior staff.
• Maintaining involvement in professional organizations to keep abreast of new industry developments.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
• P.E. license required; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
• 10+ years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer is required.
• Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM).
• Working knowledge of REVIT.
