Accounts Payable Specialist
Robert Half is representing a client who is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist to become an essential part of a company's rapidly growing team. As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

Duties include:
• Full cycle accounts payable
• Work with internal partners and external vendors to ensure accuracy and prompt payments.
• PO matching, verify accuracy of invoices - research and resolution of discrepancies, verify W9s.
• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
• Process payment of vendors.
• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
• Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices.
• Other related duties as assigned.
MUST HAVE:
• AA or BS/BA degree in accounting or pursuit of BA in accounting
• Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
• Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
• Account reconciliation experience
• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
