Your regular and ongoing tasks will primarily revolve around software management and departmental coordination. You'll act as the main point of contact for software issues, updates, and changes within the department, providing training to staff, troubleshooting software problems, and ensuring departmental processes run smoothly.
Additionally, you'll participate in strategic discussions, represent the department in meetings with IT and software developers, conduct routine checks to maintain data integrity, and perform testing for software updates. On an ad hoc basis, you may collaborate with other departments, lead staff meetings on software updates, implement workflow improvements, manage user accounts, report system errors to vendors, and generate specific reports as requested by senior staff or external partners.
This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills to ensure smooth software operations and support departmental goals.
