Position Description

Ensures established procedures and processes are being utilized correctly by personnel and that components are being manufactured to engineered specifications.

Job Responsibilities
 •  Oversees quality standards on all work procedures, processes and equipment
 •  Trains and monitors personnel on established work procedures and safe usage of equipment
 •  Identifies production problems and their root causes
 •  Reports and documents changes to facilitate a safer workplace, improve quality, and make productivity improvements
 •  Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements
 •  Proven ability to use established weld procedures, tools and equipment
 •  Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

High School diploma

Experience Requirements

2 years related experience

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25 to 50 lbs/11:27 kgs), and occasionally lifting heavy weight materials (up to 70 lbs)

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8:12 hours)

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8:12 hours)
Generally good working conditions.
