Overview:

The New York office of an AmLaw 100 law firm seeks an Administrative Assistant that has experience supporting Corporate and Litigation Attorneys to provide an elevated level of administrative support and assistance to a busy team of corporate legal professionals.
This position requires a proactive team player with a “can do” attitude.

A Day in the Life:

The Administrative Assistant will be required to have experience in a legal environment and stellar office management support skills. General administrative duties will include calendar management, expense reimbursement document review, document management and some docketing and litigation support.
The Assistant will also run conflict checks, open new client/matter engagements, and set-up billing requirements for clients. Experience with document editing, formatting, engaging regulatory agencies and assisting with transactional services is preferred.

We Know You:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years prior legal experience. Corporate legal experience preferred with the ability to learn Litigation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), a stronghold on technology and the ability to thoroughly proofread is necessary.
Experience with a document management system, billing software, and time entry program and electronic docket filing experience is strongly preferred.

Pursuant to the salary transparency provisions of the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL), please find the compensation range specific to this role if based in New York.

New York City pay range for this role, with final offer amount depending on experience is $68,000-$92,000.
