Our prestigious luxury brand is seeking a talented HR Generalist with a special focus on talent acquisition to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and HR administration.
They will play a vital role in attracting, evaluating, and retaining top talent to support the Company’s mission and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various departments within the Company.
• Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and referrals, to source qualified candidates.
• Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to ensure alignment with Company culture, values, and job requirements.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define job specifications, and create compelling job descriptions.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
2. Employer Branding and Outreach:
• Enhance employer brand by developing engaging recruitment marketing materials, including job postings, career profiles, and employee testimonials.
• Cultivate relationships with universities, professional organizations, and industry networks to promote the Company as an employer of choice.
• Represent Company at industry events and networking functions to attract top talent and expand the organization's talent pool.
3. Candidate Experience and Onboarding:
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication, feedback, and support to candidates.
• Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and introduction to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with HR team members and department heads to develop and implement onboarding programs that promote employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
4. HR Administration and Compliance:
• Assist with various HR administrative tasks, including maintaining HRIS records, preparing employment contracts, and managing recruitment-related documentation.
• Stay informed about relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
• Support HR initiatives and projects as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition/recruitment.
• Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates across diverse roles and levels.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS systems.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
