Position: Warehouse Associate
Location: Gates, NY
Job Description:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping products accurately and safely. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace will be essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts
Organize and maintain the warehouse for efficient storage and easy access
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Assist with inventory management and replenishment
Utilize SAP/ERP system for tracking and recording inventory
Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of MS Office for basic computer tasks
Some customer service experience is a plus
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [insert weight] pounds)
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Reliable and punctual
Team player with good communication skills
Shift: Standard Day Shift (8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday)
Starting Rate: $18 an Hour
Job-Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
