Crisis Management Specialist

Control Risks is seeking a dynamic Crisis Management Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional support to our esteemed Fortune 500 tech client. In this role, you will be an integral part of the client's Business Continuity Management program, lending your expertise to their Crisis Management program, while collaborating closely with their business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency response teams.
We are looking for a Crisis Management professional who is eager to broaden their skillset and delve into the exciting world of resilience.

 •  Support the clients BCM program, working across the client’s Business Continuity Planning, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery, and Emergency Response teams.
 •  Engage with regional stakeholder teams to assess gaps in their internal crisis response playbooks and processes.
 •  Plan, develop, and conduct tabletop exercises to support the company at large.
 •  Update CMT rosters on a quarterly basis.
 •  Liaise with key Global Security partners to maintain and enhance key preparedness tools and capabilities.
 •  Support different workstream teams in areas of high business demand as well as other workstream team members with projects as assigned

Requirements
 •  Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
 •  3-5 years' experience in a combination of Crisis Management, Risk Management, Business Continuity, or work in the security field.
 •  Experience in managing the response to significant disruptive events.
 •  Strong interpersonal skills, including the written and oral communication skills necessary to build relationships and positively influence decision-making.
 •  Works iteratively, delivering quickly and frequently to produce high quality documents and outputs which require little to no rework.
 •  Understanding of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Resiliency Planning.
 •  Strong understanding of crisis management and incident response.
 •  Knowledge of industry standards for crisis management and business continuity and operational risk management (ISO 22301, BS11200, ISO31000).

The base salary for this position in California or NYC is $100000-110000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per California SB 1162 and the NYC Wage Transparency Law.
