Community Outreach Manager

Job Overview:

 •  We are looking for an experienced strategic manager to drive our company's health equity and community outreach efforts in each city.

Responsibilities and Duties:

 •  Lead campaign and engagement efforts in your city.
 •  Align local citywide goals, processes, and resource allocation with organizational strategy.
 •  Monitor and report on local activities.
 •  Create and maintain partnerships with Community Based Organizations (CBO's) and local influencers.
 •  Manage and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of business-critical workflows related to our health equity/community outreach efforts, developing specifications/guidelines, and resolving escalations.
 •  Identify and explore opportunities for new partnerships/relationships.
 •  Build City-based networks and leverage those networks to drive campaign goals.
 •  Contribute to strategic projects to drive internal quality and efficiency metrics and execute with cross-functional teams.
 •  Oversee the Operations Manager and ensure effective execution of community efforts.
 •  Secure follow-up and buy-in from community partners.

Qualifications:

 •  Education Level (essential): Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field
 •  Experience: 3+ years in public health or community engagement or related field.
 •  Specific Skills: Compelling communication, network building, event planning and operations, time management, organization, budgeting.
 •  Personal Characteristics: initiative, grit/passion, ownership, honesty and integrity, impact orientation.
 •  Language: While not a requirement, being bilingual is a significant plus. We value the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of communities.
