DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The ideal candidate will d

evelopand maintaineffectivetechnology and leadmajor improvement projects to optimizeproduct capabilities, output, cost (yield), energy and environmental performance and logistical ease
to meet the business goals of AM/NSCalvert.

The Basics:

 •  Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or similar
 •  At least 5+ years of progressive industrial experience
 •  Demonstrated understanding of control systems, instrumentation, process models (Process Management fundamentals)
 •  Demonstrated knowledge of (Metal Coated) Steel Strip properties and applications
 •  Basic understanding of heat and mass transfer, combustion, chemical reactions and equilibrium (Chemistry and chemical engineering fundamentals), etc.
 •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
 •  Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations at a senior management level (including delivery of technical papers at industry conferences)

The Extras:

 •  2+ years' experience in process technology/operations role or similar in Cold Roll Mill, coating lines, and/or annealing line environment

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
 •  Provides technical support to all the strategic projects under project management group responsibility
