Position Summary:

Ensures the supply needs of the Cardiology and Invasive Radiology Departments are fulfilled. Leads the Cardiology and Invasive Radiology Supply Team and fosters communication and teamwork between the Cardiology and Invasive Radiology Supply Team and Cardiology and Invasive Radiology Operations Teams.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

 Responsible for maintaining and controlling all supplies requisitioned for and consumed by the Cardiology, and Invasive Radiology departments.
 Ensures that sufficient supplies of all materials are readily available when needed for all procedures. This includes monitoring and reporting of inventory performance.
 Maintain individual par levels of line items, consistent with anticipated usage.
 Ensures that bin locations are accurate.
 Coordinates any product returns to vendors through Materials Management Customer Service.
 Ensures that all processed returns are credited back to the department.
 Coordinates and documents all loaned or borrowed product to/from other departments or facilities.
 Maintains the cleanliness and order of inventory areas including shelving, carts and bins.
 Coordinates all physical inventory activities.
 Responsible for keeping accurate records of all inventory activity.
 Meets with sales rep to resolve vendor related issues.
 In Conjunction with the Cardiology Supply Chain Manager, obtains new supplies as requested.
 Process “Bill Only” requisitions through purchasing for payment to the appropriate vendor.
 Institutes item review to ensure that no outdated supplies are present in the department’s inventory.
 Responsible for the assessment and restocking of all departmental inventory locations.
 In Conjunction with the Cardiology Supply Chain Manager, assures accuracy of the item file.
 Assesses inventory levels and reviews the case schedule to determine inventory refill requirements.
 Physically receives product and verifies quantity received with packing slips.
 Breaks down product and restocks inventory area.
 Demonstrates a clear understanding of the supply acquisition process and serves as a resource to the Cardiology Supply Chain Manager, Cardiology and Invasive Radiology, and Inventory Supply teams as well as Physicians.
 Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.
 Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
 Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education/Training
High School graduate or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification
None.

Experience
Five (5) years’ experience in inventory control or central supply. Must have working knowledge of computer systems.
