About Our Client
• Established over 100 years ago, this family-owned company is now in its 4th generation.
• With over 80 employees across multiple offices in MA and CT, they are the largest mechanical contractor in NE outside of Boston.
• Their projects consist of Higher Education/Institutional, Lab/Lifescience, and Healthcare
• With a strong team culture, they organize regular events like golf outings, family nights, and employee appreciation days.
• They have a strong base of repeat clients, demonstrating their quality and reliability.
Job Description
The Estimator is responsible for:
• Typically work on 3-4 jobs at a time
• Attend jobsite walkthoughs and pre-bid meetings
• Provide detailed take-offs
• Review data to determine material and labor requirements
• Consult with clients and vendors to discuss estimates and resolve issues
• Compare estimated cost to actual coast and determine reason for discrepancies
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for HVAC projects
• Report directly to Director of Preconstruction

The right Estimator will have:
• 3-5 years of HVAC or Plumbing Estimating experience
• Experience Estimating in Higher Education/Institutional, Lab/Lifescience, and Healthcare sectors.
• Experience working at a Mechanical or Engineering firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit

• Base salary up to $110K (Can flex higher for the right candidate)
• 401K Match up to 10% (Profit Sharing)
• $20 copay for Healthcare, Vision, and Dental
• Flexible PTO
