Recruiting Sourcer
JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing full life cycle recruiting throughout the organization by understanding recruiting needs and will uses resources, processes, and systems to effectively recruit and source candidates. Responsible for supporting all areas of staffing, recruitment and talent selection.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in recruiting practices, can build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and demonstrates effective communications with individuals at all levels within the supported lines of business.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
Communicates with hiring managers to understand the core competencies required for each position in order to create a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
Determines best options for posting positions and manages relationships with various job posting entities
Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
Utilizes social and professional networking options to source candidates for selected positions
Ensures that published job requirements are up to date and accurate
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; arranging community tours.
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
Keeps supervisor apprised of customer requests for resources; forwards unusual requests to Director for appropriate response
Collects and reports data regarding recruiting costs to supervisor
Source actively to build a pool of qualified candidates needed by various departments in advance of need.
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
Administers standardized tests to selected candidates as needed
Participate in establishing a recognizable "employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
Coordinate college recruiting initiatives and attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data
Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills
Good organizational skills
Results driven and able to use good judgment
Knowledge of state and federal labor and employment laws
Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources information
Ability to maintain a professional attitude while working under stressful conditions
Must have strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
EDUCATION (Required and/or Preferred):
Bachelor's Degree required
FIELD OF STUDY:
Human Resources
WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years of applicable sourcing/recruiting experience.
Experience with Applicant Tracking System a plus.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
PHR certification preferred
