We are seeking a mission-focused Software Engineer/Systems Engineer to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in Herndon, Virginia!
Qualifications:
Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies
• Deep understanding/experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle cloud).
• Experience utilizing cloud knowledge/experience to recommend cloud solutions, based on customer/system requirements.
• Ability to provide analytical and technical support, installation, repair, and troubleshooting in cloud services.
• Provide cloud guidance and technical support to customers interested in working in a multi-cloud environment.
• Experience developing Web-based UIs.
• Experience implementing Web apps and support services.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with system automation
• Experience developing Service Now applications.
• Extensive JavaScript experience.
• Experience with Python.
• Bachelor's degree plus 11 (eleven) years experience.
Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies
• Experience with IT system automation to include artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML).
• Experience with automated testing.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience with Automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, etc.).
• Knowledge of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) on iterative development projects
• Experience with Cloud design, implementation, and configuration
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of Agile development principles.
• Knowledge of modern software languages (e.g. Java, C, C++, C#, Python, Perl, etc.).
Security Clearance Level
• TS/SCI with Polygraph (current)
Work Schedule
• Full-time on-site at designated facility.
